Damecuta

Made using the cut and uncut looped technique, the Damecuta velvet jacquard borrows its geometry from the Art Deco movement. The shimmering pile of the two-tone motif seems to float over the surface of the cotton warp, tightly woven like Indian silk carpets, with a metallic yarn. The varieties of light, texture and the depth of the pile make the pattern come to life.
