Inspired by the National Trust’s restoration of Brockhampton’s orchards, Lost Orchard is a richly textural jacquard that traces the winding paths once found across the estate. Apple, pear and medlar trees are depicted alongside birds, badgers and sheep in a tapestry-like weave that recalls medieval samplers and marginalia. Playfully naïve in character, the design evokes a bird’s-eye view of the orchard’s gentle curves and quatrefoil forms, celebrating its renewed growth and abundance.
