Nectar Fields

A delicate, trailing print design, Nectar Fields takes inspiration from a late 19th-century chintz in our archive. Thought to have been originally hand-painted, the document carries a painterly looseness. Featuring wildflower motifs with soft white highlights, it recalls the meadows of Brockhampton Estate and the habitats they provide for bees and butterflies. Its mid-scale repeat makes it an especially versatile design.
